
ZTE is just ahead of MWC’s unveiled its new smartphone Grand S3, which is so special among other smartphones by the technology of authentication based on eyes scanning.
EyePrint ID technology by EyeVerify is not based on the traditional method of scanning the iris of the eye, but uses the phone camera to map the blood vessels in the eye. EyeVerify claims to be mapped vessels do not change as a result of stress even aging.
Unlocking your device through this technology is carried out using the front 8-megapixel camera that does not have LED flash, and this procedure will be difficult in low light conditions.
Among other specifications Grand S3 is delivered with 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 801 with four Krait 400 CPU cores running at 2.5 GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, and 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage which can be expanded with microSD cards.
The rear camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with dual-LED flash, and the battery has a capacity of 3100 mAh. There is support for LTE networks, 802.11 Wi-Fi ac and Dolby sound.
