Until recently, the most powerful in terms of graphics capabilities of smartphone devices was iPhone 6.
The benchmark GFXBench managed to get around all of the major competitors, including the Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and Galaxy Note 5. The main reason for the high grades is powerful hardware and a relatively small display resolution. The iPhone 6 appeared strong competitor, but guess who was able to pass him in the tests?
This is the ZTE Nubia Z9 and showed the best results in the graphics benchmark.
Today, most flagship smartphones on the Android platform are equipped with Quad HD-screens. Therefore, even though more powerful, in the tests they conceded iPhone 6 as a winner. In the case of ZTE Nubia Z9 higher resolution did not let the flagship to give the iPhone 6 the leading position.
However, the difference was only in 0,2 FPS.
Recall that the ZTE Nubia Z9 is equipped with a 5.2″ display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 810, Adreno 430 graphics accelerator, and 3 GB of RAM. Smartphone is running Android 5.0 Lollipop with a ZTE Nubia 3.0 shell.
