According to information from multiple sources, Xiaomi awaits the start of production of the new Snapdragon processor 820, which it intends to use in its new flagship Mi5. It will happen only at the beginning of next year, but for now, the Chinese giant has in store is one more version of last year’s Mi4. Earlier this year, we have already shown available Xiaomi Mi 4i, as we now know that the new smartphone is about to be called the Xiaomi Mi 4c. The device has passed the certification of TENAA, but is also seen in the database benchmark of AnTuTu.
Externally, Xiaomi Mi 4c is identical to Mi 4i. The same 5-inch display, which occupies almost the entire front side of the smartphone, the plastic case with a speaker on the back side, as well as double LED flash on the side of the main part of the body.
According to data from the AnTuTu, Xiaomi Mi 4c has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, six-core Snapdragon processor 808 with 1.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory with no expansion options, 13 megapixel main and 5 megapixel front camera. The smartphone will come with a preinstalled version of the operating system Android 5.1.1 and proprietary firmware MIUI 7.
The cost and start date of sales for Xiaomi Mi 4c is still unknown.
