The problem of overheating for Xiaomi Mi 4i will be solved programmatically

In the brochures dedicated to Xiaomi Mi 4i, budget option to flagship Xiaomi Mi4, it is possible to write a “hot stuff” that has nothing to do with the level of sales.
As it became known from a number of users during operation that the smartphone heats up, though not set in the infamous Snapdragon 810, but only 615 Snapdragon – eight-chip with a frequency of 1.7 GHz and a graphics chip Adreno 405. However, if the high-end solution with a chip Snapdragon 810 eradicate the problem of overheating and throttling is not so easy in the case of Mi 4i, it seems, everything can be resolved after the next update, which the company has already begun to send to all owners of this smartphone.

Some users complain that when running say heavy 3D-gaming tests and synthetic benchmarks, smartphone begins to warm significantly, making it uncomfortable to use. Upgrade V6.5.4.0 LXIMICD in size of 804 MB phone memory adds a special algorithm for temperature control, thanks to which the device is comfortable to use, even whith a large load.

According to the product manager of the Indian division of Xiaomi, Jaya Mani, update “teaches” smartphone to adjust the clock frequency, voltage and the number of cores involved, depending on the temperature of the chipset. However, while it remains unknown how this will affect the overall performance of smartphone.
