Qualcomm, a world famous manufacturer of mobile chips, presented its latest generation of the devices as part of Mobile Development Platform initiative.
The company presented one smartphone and one tablet that will be primarily intended for developers. Smartphone is primarily intended to promote the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit chip with eight-core processor, Adreno 430 GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon V56 DSP.
Among other specifications there is 6.17-inch screen with resolution of 2560 * 1600 pixels, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a battery of 3200 mAh.
Also, there’s a huge number of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, pressure, temperature, UV rays and humidity sensors.
Many Qualcomm technologies are also supported such as, for example, fast charging device via the Quick Charge 2.0 options. This smartphone will be sold at a price of $799.
Tablet has a 10.1-inch screen with resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, the battery power of 7560 mAh and a price of $999.
