Late last month, Vice President of Meizu Li Nan said that they will no longer produce the device line Pro. Thus, last year’s Meizu MX4 Pro became supposedly the last device in the series. However, new rumors say that the company is still developing an improved version of its flagship Meizu MX5. Many sources suggest that Meizu just have not decided yet what name to give to this device. Last month, the resource Mobile Dad said that the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to introduce a 6-inch MX5 Pro, and now the test was seen AnTuTu smartphone called Meizu MX5 Pro Plus.
According to available information, Meizu MX5 Pro Plus will get a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, 64-bit Samsung Exynos 7420 Quad-Core Snapdragon, or Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel camera by Sony.
As you can see, Meizu MX5 Pro Plus is not much different from the company’s latest devices with the exception of large size.
It is possible that Meizu decided to change the name of the line Pro to Pro Plus, to stand out from the competition. In either case, find out exactly what we will have only after the official presentation of the new device.
