“Rumors that MediaTek suspends cooperation with Xiaomi, however, are only rumors, yesterday, both companies have rejected allegations of Chinese media.”

Two days ago Chinese media qualified for a disinformation regarding a partnership between MediaTek and Xiaomi. The Chinese media have stated that the Taiwanese chipmaker (MediaTek) decided to end cooperation with the Chinese manufacturer of the smartphone, meaning with Xiaomi.

They did not specify the reason(s) for this decision, but at the same time began to rustle on this act MediaTek decided because Xiaomi began to cooperate with domestic manufacturer of chips – the company LeadCore. Since both companies at that time refused to comment on allegations of Chinese media seemed as though written in a bit of truth.

But just a day later, both companies are through their account on the social network Weibo decided to deny the writings of Chinese media. Xiaomi stated that the report placed substantially inaccurate, but that in the future they intend to co-operate with other chip makers to be able to offer devices that will have the best balance of performance and price.

MediaTek in the issue of denial said something shorter, only that the business cooperation with Xiaomi is still very good.
